Background 背景
iCast Co., Ltd., together with NTT Plala Inc., operates an IPTV video platform called HIKARI TV in Japan. HIKARI TV has grown to over 3 million subscribers today since its services began in 2008.
In today’s global perspective, services that incorporate new technologies and original content that centred on OTT(Over-The-Top media services) are emerging with intense competition in the market. To ensure growth in the next ten years, HIKARI TV aims to stay on top of the current competitive field through the sharing of their know-how, knowledge through networking and communication with various stakeholders to establish new business model. HIKARI TV believes this is necessary for today’s competitive environment. Henceforth, a communication space called “Aoyama Lodge” was born in Aoyama, Tokyo.
我々、株式会社アイキャストは、株式会社ＮＴＴぷららとともに日本における代表的なIPTV映像プラットフォーム「ひかりＴＶ」を運営しています。「ひかりＴＶ」は2008年のサービス開始から、順調に会員数を伸ばし、３００万会員を超える規模に成長しました。
現在、世界的な視点で映像サービスを俯瞰すると、ＯＴＴを中心に常に新しい技術、独創性あふれるコンテンツを盛り込んだサービスが勃興し、激しい競争が繰り広げられております。我々は、現在の厳しい競争領域のなか、「ひかりＴＶ」の次の１０年を切り開き、かつ頂点を目指す新たな事業の確立に向け、様々なステークホルダとのネットワーキング、コミュニケーションを通じて、ノウハウや知識を共有する環境が必要と感じました。そこで、東京・青山に「Aoyama Lodge」と名付けた、コミュニケーションスペースをオープンしました。
Inspired by the symbolism of honeycomb’s creative geometry and engineering, The visual identity design of Aoyama Lodge aims to illustrate the seamless integration between creativity and opportunity through collaboration. It is a community space where diversity of ideas and people converge. The design of the three honeycombs interlaced together symbolise the strong inter-relationship of the three key prospects in this collaborative space: social networking, communication and the sharing of know-how.
ハニカムの創造的な幾何学と⼯学のシンボルに触発されました, ⻘⼭ロッジのビジュアルアイデンティティデザインは、コラボレーションによる創 造性と機会のシームレスな。統合を説明することを⽬的としています。それ はアイデアや⼈人⼈人々の多様性が集まるコミュニティ空間です。 ⼀一緒にインターレスした3つののデザインは、このコラボレーティ ブな空間における3つの重要な見見通しの強い相互関係を象徴しています: ソーシャルネットワーキング、コミュニケーション、そしてノウハウの共有。
